I got to visit some of my favorite wineries including Fidelitas, GamacheVintners, Treveri Cellars (Sparkling Syrah!), Adams Bench and Cooper. Plus I was also able to make some new discoveries: Market Vineyards, Obelisco Estate, Jacob Williams Winery (Zin!), and Elsom Cellars.
The food this year did not disappoint. Highlights were to lemon pasta from Tuscany Rustic Italian Bistro, poached spot prawn with Absolut Citron cocktail sauce from Alderbrook Resort, halibut ceviche with pepper confetti and popcorn from Palisade Restaurant and I am still dreaming about that salted caramel ice cream from Molly Moon.
Big kudos to Seattle Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Washington State Wine Commission for putting on a spectacular event. Job well done! See you next year.
