"In the Cellar" Wine Tasting Event in Woodinville

On May 20th, ten Woodinville wineries will come together to elevate wine tasting in Woodinville to an elite level with a new event: Spring Barrel Wine Tasting.

This event, presented by the Artisan Producing Wineries of Woodinville, is tailored for those enthusiasts who  have grown tired of the quick taste and mad dash to the next winery on the the list.  It's for the aficionado who craves the essence of education in each wine experience and demands an event different from all others.

This is a true "in the cellar" experience, with winemakers in attendance at each of the ten Woodinville wineries to discuss the wines, their craft, and guide attendees through tastings of wine from barrels in various stages of creation.  Mark Newton of DiStefano Winery comments "the easy drive to Woodinville and caliber of wineries here has made the big annual events increasingly crowded.  The Spring Barrel Tasting by the Artisan Winery Collective is the exact opposite-an authentic, personal, in-the-cellar experience.  People have heard of 'slow food'.  This is sort of like 'slow wine'".
